How can you make a cancer patient happy?

I had an uncle who has prostate cancer. Eversince he learned about his condition, he never smiled the way he used to.
I kept on calling and texting my uncle to slightly relieve his worries yet the mood remains the same.
The last time i dropped by at the hospital, I can't bare the sad look in his face, eventhough undergoing therapies, he's not anymore the energetic type the way i knew him since i was a kid...
You see guys, i don't want to lose him. I really wanted to do my best to help him be himself even in a simple way....coz' honestly, I'm running out of ideas since i tried what i could think of...
Any Suggestions???

You can't make or force someone to be happy. All you can do is be there for them and remind them of the good times.
Try and see if you can get the person out of the house to see a movie or just have lunch. Sitting around isn't going to help anything at all.
Try taking old family photos to look at with him.
