Death penalty: Keep it or toss it? What are your thoughts?

Toss it. The worst punishment is having to live with the guilt of the sins you have done. Life in prison. Dont punish murder with murder!

Oh, I say keep it. And use it more. Maybe have public executions. People have been desensetized to consequences.

i think it should be forced. I think every state should do it because there is some crazy people out there and if they get out what makes you think they want do it again! I could go on and on about this but i am going to stop here! great discussion by the way!

I say we leave things as is. those who commited a dealth crime outto get the dealth penalty.

A touchy subject indeed.
However, i think in the USA i wouldnt make a difference. People are not afraid to take anothers life.
That being said, i think in a country like Canada, it would be a good idea to adopt. It would strike the fear in a person from doing such a dastardly act knowing that thier own life would be taken for thier cowardly act.
