Its not my nor anyones job to make anyone happy but themselves and its our jobs to make ourselves happy

i guess it depends on how much we love that person. if we dont and they are not feeling the same way we do then it is all just done in vain and only takes away from our lives and from the people that deserve that energy the most.

If somebody truly cares about you they will never expect you to sacrifice your own happiness for theirs. If you are unhappy, those who love you will be unhappy too. And it is never worth compromising your own happiness for selfish people who do not really care for you. Also, if you are not happy then your discontentment will spread to those around you. You cannot spread happiness in other people's lives unless you have it in your own!

Im also asking that question... But for now, I think we can make other happy but not with our expense... As long as we do our best in making others happy and yet they are not.. that's still fine.. Thanks!!!

It's a tough question, does it mean doing a sacrifice just to see someone happy even if you are hurting inside? For me, if you are going to sacrifice anything for a person, you must first determine if the person is really worth the pain that you have to go through.

if to make our dear ones happy we can make them happy at our expense!but there r someothers who don't feel happy in what v do and i know many!in such cases better leave them...

It is up to the person. if you want to be nice be nice, if you don't then don't!

Real Happiness lies in making in others happy...search always happiness in others then you are the happiest person in this world.

i believe our life are not ours we need to do things for others if we can make any one happy its gives happiness in return to us.

depends on whom r u compromising urself its good to b happy and its much better to make others happy if and only if u b happy with that , and if u can 't b then u better make urself happy .........

I think it depends on who the "others" are. If it's a family member or someone that we love, I think it's only natural to want to make them happy, even if it means some sacrifices on our part. However, we need to be careful because some people will see this good-heartedness as a weakness and take advantage of your good nature.

I think we can make someone happy at our humor and respect expence =) In any case make youself happy first and you will know how to make other peson happy =) Sometimes I think may be it is not good to be absolutly happy because you will not have the motivation to reach something else =)
