what makes a quality post/discussion?

I have seen people talking about how much they've made off of certain posts, and I realize that I haven't that many posts yet, but for my 88 posts, i've only made $1.72? I know it takes alot, but that's less than 2cents a post! Please help me out with what Quality discussions are? I would have to do more than 500 posts just to get the minimum $10?! someone help me out!

I don't understand it either. I have 202 posts and only made $3.92. Very slow payment for discussions.

I find that you have earned better than
my earnings at this stage . And you just
keep up this trend . wishing all the best .
At 100 points, I might have earned just
1$ only . Actually it was less than a
dollar . I believe that I have posted
with good quality . so we donot know how
Mylot decides the quality of the posts .

It's difficult how MyLot determines their payscale. Few people have figured out the complete logistics and it is difficult to figure out the ratio of posts to money alloted. I think you should try posting longer posts as well as rating the discussions and marking best responses. Also, you could try responding to those who respond to your discussion questions.
