glenn mcgrath, shane warne, justin langer and damein martyn have retired from test cricket after the ashes series.... even though these players are irreplacable i think australia will continue to dominate test cricket and remain the number one team... they have really good players in reserve... even their second string team could beat any other team in the world... what are your views??

I dont think the retirement of these players is goin to effect too much.Australians have been preparing for the past 20yrs to built the kind of players it is having now. So,the retirement of these player is not goin to effect much. They always have reserve players to perform at any level.Thats how they have prepared players at the domestic level. But we have to agree the fact that its not that easy to prepare players of mcgrath and shane warne calibre so soon.It may take some time. But anyways the performance of team australia will be the same.

Certainly yes. The reason being the four senior players have resigned because they are convinced that their position in the squad is under threat. As Australia has so big talent pool in cricket lot of players are knocking on the door of the selectors for a place. So it does not matter who is there in the team or not they will remain champions.
