how to secure online documents which i send

can anyone help me know how to send protected documents or files online.

You can use winrar to zip a file and meanwhile set a password for it. It's very easy.

There are quite a few ways to secure documents before you send them. My question for you is how are you sending them? It is via email or ftp, or some other way? You can password protect a zip file (others have mentioned this) but it's not that secure, the longer the password the more secure. You can also look into PGP (Pretty Good Privacy) or some other encryption protcol that will encrypt your data with a 128 bit key that is extremely tough to break. Typically the user at the other end will need their own PGP setup in order to decyrpt it. There are other ways as well...
