Oh my lord! I love to travel and I have recently come back from a trip from Siam Riep, Cambodia. The literally jaw-dropping views will have you amazed and intoxicated and you can definatly blow a whole day just starring and basking in the pure and natural beauty. However, visiting the Ankor Wat temples is only half of the enjoyable experiance, there is an amazing nightlife there. Now i'm not saying clubs where you can dance or anything like that but there is this one road called Pub Street which is so appropriately named because it's full of bars at amazingly cheap price! One offers its special - "The Bucket". Literally served in a bucket, it involves almost half a bottle of vodka, half a bottle of whisky, various other spirts and all topped off with coke - a sort of oriental twist on the "Long Island Iced-Tea". The other nice thing is that there are a LOT of people with absolutely fantastic stories about their life and they are not only friendly but so approachable..
All in all Cambodia is simply stunning!!! I would love to hear from anyone who has been there or who are thinking of going there!

Yep also.. i am like you in the fact that i like to see other things that arent specifically aimed for tourists.. but i also like the touristy stuff =)
I went on a day trip to a 'floating village' in which they farmed fish as a way of earning money and food and i got to meet them and see what they do on an 'average' day.. i REALLY enjoyed it!!..

Wow! I went to that place too! i couldnt finish a 'bucket' but i managed to down a tin of tomatoes - not literal kind of like a bloody mary but a lot stronger and more better lah. Anyway i also went to va te faire foutre que râlez street. (named when cambodia was under french rule) its brilliant there is a shisha bar and grill called the pencil sharpener. Its pretty cool all their drinks are named after stationary and stuff damn good fun!
