Kids, we now are smart.I observe that they have an undying passion to learn new things around them , they are open to new ideas ; on whole I feel they are creative beings living their lives to fullest.A sense of liberation.Do you agree? For instance , the celerity with which they pick up the any language skill or rich vocabulary. They dont look study the whole of authoritative books on language or lookup every word in dictionary to build these skills.Do they ? Somewhere down the years , kids lose that passion(may be there are exceptions) ,and rigidity sets in ...which we call growing up . What are your thought on this ? Don't you feel its necessary for us to bring back that child like passion and openness to learning ?If yes how may we Do this despite our constraints such as being accepted in the world, our commitments and responsibilities?

I do not think our learning ability weakens as we grow up, though for some people it may be true. I agree that we do need to want to learn more and learn new things. Some people are afraid to learn new things, especially with computers based on my experiences and some of the people that I work or worked with. Many people I know are constantly looking to learn new things, either by reading new materials or visiting new places or watching different tv channels. Even being here on myLot we are learning new things about each other and what other people around the world think.
