should myLot allow users to paste urls and hyperlinks? / myLot

there are quite a few times that i have wanted to point someone to a specific link and haven't been able to because myLot doesn't let me paste the link.. this isn't an issue for straightforward links like www.papertreestudios.com , but is a problem if the link looks weird, and has special characters like %^SJCBJK((& and such :-(

Mylot allowed that but in that condition to post a proper link not a referral link or promoting link..

ys i think they should allow to do this..because now if i want to paste some great link i just cant do it anymore..i got to write it:)

I have experienced this too. The only way to paste links is to get a 500 rating which I'm quite close to now. Just keep posting and before you know it, you've already reached 500. By the way, they don't have this restriction before, I guess they're just trying to improve the site because spammers tend to copy and paste things.

I know what you mean. I myself was writing a response and then before I posted it, I copy the response. Then I tried to send, and I got an unavailable page, and I couldn't paste my response, So I just give up and went to other discussions.
