Views on stem cell research and its possible effects?

Im sure we have all heard of the recent developments in stem cell research with advanced technology in cloning and especially the plans on the "human-cow embryo" im looking for peoples views on the subjusect. Do you agree or disgree and why? What does the future bring with stem cell research? Will we ever see Human-Cows walking down the street?

why do you think in this manner, there is lot of diseases need to be cured to alliviate the pain and misery who will have time and the money to waste on human cows etc,
