My Dad is a recovering alcoholic.

My Dad has been an alcoholic for the past 30 or so years. He has been sober off and on for my whole life, well all of my sister's and brothers life too. Now my Dad is sober. He hasn't been sober for that long (2 months), but this is the most I have ever seen him try. He has a sponser and goes to AA at least once everyday. Plus he has a job and is saving to get his own place. My sister is having a hard time believing him. I know she just doesn't want to be set up for a let down, but it hurts my Dad that she continues to bad mouth him. Any words of advice to help her see how hard he is trying?

Don't know what to say to help apart from keep trying. As long as he's trying then he has to be honored and admired. Send him our best wishes. :) www.AddAnImage.com
