i'm not against mobile phone becoz i get a lot of benefit from it, but sometimes i get bored too w/ it..specially if i'm in my home and want to have a relaxing time. so if i'm in that condition then i'll turn off my mobile. i have home number and i only give it to family and close friends, so they know how to contact me if i turn off my phone.

I can and do live without one. The job I had before the one I have now had me tied to a pager and a cell phone. I was a dispatcher for an oil company. My phone never stopped ringing! I said if I ever found another job that paid as well as that one, I would not have a cell phone. I found a better job and I do not and have not had a cell phone for 3 years. I Love the freedom.

until you dont ahve one its normal. Once you have a mobile and have added your contacts it does become an important part of your life. It does disturb you personal life sometimes but this a part of the game. I cant stop ingoring the benefits of mobile. My husband is very particular that i carry my mobile where ever i go so that i am always just a call away.

I am a firm believer in having a cell phone. I've had mine for about 7 years (even had the same number for that long, which I think is unusual, as people seem to be getting new ones all the time). I would be lost without mine. While I don't spend a lot of time on it, it's the only means of contact that I have with many of my friends and family. Often we have the same service provider and get free mobile to mobile calling and are able to take advantage of that. I've recently even gone so far as to add my Mother to my plan so that I am able to contact her when the need arises. We had a very upsetting incident recently where we were supposed to meet and she went to the wrong place and left me sitting out in the freezing cold for over an hour. Wasn't fun and now that won't happen again because I've made sure that I can contact her when I need to. I think cell phones are life savers.

I prefer having and being able to use a mobile phone. For me being I'm on the road early in the morning and god forbid something happen I have my cellphone. As to my personal life, If I'm busy or occupied, I just cut it off or don't answer it, it doesn't bother me one way or another, BUT I know I can't live without my cell phone
