I am currently having a long distance relationship right now. We are going to have our 5th year anniversary this year and so far so good. Its a roller coaster ride because it is not easy to be engaged in this kind of relationship. But we are hanging on and getting stronger because we love each other. Soon, probably 3-4 years from now, we're going to get married.

My first long-distance relationship wasn't that long-distance, but at 17, an hour and a half away seems like a lifetime. That relationship did end, but we remained good friends. Then I dated a guy about three and a half hours away. We got married last May. But, being in the military, that is not the end of our long-distance relationship. It is a part of our life. But with trust, dedication, and lots of emails we get through it.

I met my now husband on the internet. He lived almost 3000 miles away. We kept in touch on the internet close to 3 years. He finally came to meet me in real time and we met May 1999 and he never left. We married August 1999. I would do all over again
