How do I change my picture that goes above my user name?

I want to change the picture to something else besides the green and white picture you see. How do you do it?

You have already changed the Avatar . It is surprising that you havent replied to the above responses . ofcourse they mean that you should edit your preferences to upload a photo for your Avatar ...

The "Customize Your Profile" option down on the left hand side.
