Do you like to come up with new recipes for your family to eat, or do you cook the same things over and over again? I'm always looking for new recipes but more often than not, my family doesn't like the new recipes. They prefer if I just cook the same old things over and over again. I think it gets boring, but they say they like boring. So, do you try to cook new things? or do you stick with cooking the sames things you've always cooked?

I love to cook new things, but more often then not, I mess it up. So, I stick with my usuals. My husband is very understanding about trying the new recipes. One of my recipes were a hit though and it's my husband new favorite. And he thought he didn't like zuccini's and it has Del Monte zuccini's with tomato sauce in it. SUCCESS!!! lol

well keep up trying - you will see that more often you will succeed in cooking completly new meals :) you should alsways sometimes go back to the recepies you once cooked even if you did it wrong - it would help you get better :)

Yes I do like to c ome up with new receipes for my family, I do cook a lot of the same foods but they like some of the new receipes that I have tried. It would get boring with the same food that is why my family like me to try different meals.

I like to cook but not enough to try to come up with new recipes all the time. My family is like yours and I have to admit that I like the same things more often than not. Doing what I already do in the cooking department is good enough for everyone in my family. We hardly have time to eat let alone time to come up with new recipes, LOL.

I'm not a big fan of comming up with new things to come up with to eat for dinner. I do cook the same things but not on an every day or even every week basis. If I want something new to eat, I just order out something that I haven't had in a long time or something that sounds interesting to eat.

I am really bad about coming up with new things to eat. I guess I need to figure something out though since my husband has started to complain. I get tired of having the same thing over & over again too.

I love to try new recipes. My children enjoy trying new ones to, but my partner he just likes the same thing all the time. He would rather I just cook a steak and potatoes every night. He always says there is no reason why he should take a chance with something that he doesn't when he can eat what he likes and know that he will be happy. I get bored with the same thing all the time.

I have the same problem. I get so tired of cooking the same things over and over, but everytime I try a new recipe my family doesn't seem to like it. They seem perfectly content to eat the same old boring meals! I like to go out to eat about once a month, just to break up the monotony. And this gives me a chance to try new entrees.

I love to find new recipes to cook,my thing right now is trying to find new recipes to cook for a large family that is cheap and easy, and everyone was so great in posting responses for it.But I love to find new things to make and it helps me be a little creative for my famliy and not bore them with the same thing over and over.

I like to cook new things here and there and still have some old ones. I also try to cook things that don't cost so much.

I used to. Now it is the same boring things. I love to cook, but everytime I do it is a disaster. I have been having my husband cook. He does pretty good. 18 years together who knew? I kind of like it.

My family tends to eat the same things (in general) for lunch every day. We eat a healthy meal of vegetables (mostly steamed) with some meat dish on the side. The meat dish is the main thing that changes from time to time depending on what we find at the store that looks good. Anyway, for supper we all just prepare whatever we like. I'm just happy to live in a family where we eat a really healthy lunch. I don't mind that we don't really cook different things all the time *laugh*

well even i like the boring regular receipes instead of experiments every other night, not all of them succeed and you cant tell that dinner is bad, so u just say to cook the routine food....get what i mean?????
