I hate being cold....I'm one of those people that has a hard time keeping warm. I always take a sweater to work because it's so cold in there! I keep the thermostat turned up pretty high all winter long, because when I get cold, it takes hours for me to get warm again.
I work with 2 ladies who are always hot! So they keep turning the thermostat down at work, while I'm freezing. They are always telling me that I can put more layers on, but they can't take any more layers off! lol! That's true, but why should I sit there with 5 layers on and hardly be able to move, just so they can be comfortable?
So, would you rather be hot, or cold?

Well after reading your discussion it is true that those ladies cannot take off any more clothes but anyway back to the response, I prefer to be hot than cold you can always hop under the shower but when it is cold it does take a long time and harder to get out of the bed ...knowing that you are going to get colder.

Most definitly hot, I get cold so very easy and quick, even in fall and spring. I think I'd last longer in the warmness rather than cool.

I hate being cold. All this week it has been freezing. I live in California, but let me tell you for Northern Cali it's preety cold. brrr frio. It has been about 50 degree's here almost every day now and I try not to leave the house but I need too sometimes. When I leave, I wear full stockings under 2 pairs of pants and a sweater and a large warm coat. And I always wear gloves, I'm preety skinny and the cold really gets to me. If I'm wearing less then that in the cold, I noticed my body will feel really stiff and I barely move. I miss summer days.

I prefer to be cold. Why? Because when you are cold, you can keep adding layer after layer of clothing. When you are hot, once you strip off all of your clothing, there isn't anything else you can do. So, give me cold instead of hot any day!

If i could have it about 70 year round i would be happy. It gets too hot here in the summer and we don't have alot of cold days or at least not in the last coulpe of years so 70 would be good.

I prefer being cold because I can always put more clothes on. If you are hot, you can't keep taking clothes off to help, eventually you're in your skin. In the cold you can just keep putting more clothing on.

Sorry Bev, I'm with the ladies at your job. I hate the heat and prefer the cold. You can always put more clothing on but after a ceertain point, you can't take it off. Also, I love coffee and that helps in the winter but I can't drink it when the temperature goes over 90 degrees without getting sick and I miss it. (Don't like iced coffee)

Well I am a very cold natured person but I get hot flashes all the time and when I get hot it makes me very sick to my stomach so for me it is better to be in a cold atmosphere and just wear a sweater and deal with the cold.

I would so much rather be warm than cold. I'm not a real big fan of the freezing weather. My family has a fairly large home and it's difficult to keep it heated well in the wintertime. It's funny that you write this just now, as Missouri (where I live) has finally hit a very cold patch and I've been extra cold today, lol! ^_^ I'm sorry that you work with ladies who are the opposite of you and are always turning the heat down and making you cold :/

i would rather be cold! see in the winter you can bundle, sit on the heater or under the blankets. its not difficult to get warm. But in the summer or in the hot weather, its hard to get cool. the technology is there, it just isnt enough or good enough. besides the blankets are warm and comfy. if you hate the cold so much, just move! dont complain because its you who is there and not willing to do something about it. ♣

That's just it, I don't complain out loud... I'm the one who sits there and suffers so that they are comfortable all the time. And no, it's not easy to get warm. Not when it's so cold that it gets into your bones.... I can't really put on a blanket in the office! And gloves don't work to well for typing on the computer.....

I would rather be cold because you can always bundle up but when you are hot there is not alot you can do except stay in the air conditioning or jump in the pool and sometimes the pool is too warm(I live in Texas)....cold definitely cold.

If you take your question to the extremes, I'd much rather be cold. If it's -50 celcius, you can always put on more clothes and generate heat by eating and running around or so. If it's 50 celcius then you can only take off your clothes and sweat but it'd still be insanely hot.

I'd much rather be cold and for one reason: I sweat a lot(sorry if that is TMI)and it takes very little overheating to start me sweating.
If I'm cold I can just stick on a sweatshirt or something but trying to work with a river of sweat running down your back making you itch is maddening.

I'd much rather be cold. You can bundle up with sweaters and blankets but in the heat of summer with no air conditioning, you swelter and sleeping in a hot room at night is hell. Much easier to warm up than it is to cool down. :)
