Overseas Brats

Are there any Overseas Brats on MyLot? What were your experiences and where were your parents stationed? I remember coming back to the States and finding it difficult to fit in with my peers. I would tell them stories of my experiences and they would have a hard time believing me! In my experience, Overseas Brats are a culture of their own.

There is a site I just found called http://www.overseasbrats.com You can check it out if you wish. My sons grandfather was in the service. I also have a sister who was in the service she was once stationed in Alaska but she didn't have kids. I"m not sure of anymore sites.

Thank you, Starlady. I do know of overseasbrats.com,, and there's another even better one called militarybrats.com. I was in Ankara, Turkey during high school as a Foreign Service Brat.

Wished I could of found a site you didn't know about. I have a neighbor who did alot of overseas volunteer work. She met her husband while she was doing this they now have 3 sons. I think I would believe what you must of been thu I use to have a neighbor that was overseas and he use to have flashbacks.
