I have just discovered that I am having a problem with my email mailbox, I haven't received notices in the last 2 days. I am going to notify my email providers and see what happens, I don't know how long it will be before it is cleared up. But I just wanted everyone to know...SS

You should atleast tell us about name of your mail and providers. If you are having his prolem for last 2 days they are not wrong.they will take their time to reconnect you. You are just making this issue public. It's OK. I got it.

When I submitted the post, my first concern was letting the folks that are apart of my friendship circle know that I was having a problem. Since we are no longer able to copy and paste I realized sending an email to each one would be extremely time consuming. So I opted on submitting a comment because I knew that each one would be notified. You see I use my email box to keep track of my friends postings exclusively, I find that this method at least for me is the most effective way of locating their comments...Thanks for the response...SS

You might check on your friends page to make sure that "notify is on." Mine got turned off for quite a while and I would turn them on only to find them off again later. I notified myLot about the problem and they fixed it. Mine is working now but you might have to go back to "friends" page and turn them on again.

Well, it could be going to your Spam folder if you are using an Email provider such as Yahoo, or maybe even your Provider or Virus protection is blocking these from coming thru? Who knows. I know I am still getting mine all of the time.

Recently my email provider changed the protection level on email, and now a lot of email that used to come to my inbox now goes to my spam box. Be sure to check your spam box and also check the security level your email is set on. You may need to lower it a little. In any event, see what your provider suggests first before doing anything.

Thanks...I decided it may just work out better in the long run if I switch providers, and I have. I contacted my original email provider and I am awaiting a response, usually a response will take a couple of days and it has already been nearly 4 days. And I am not receiving any mail at all...my new acct. is up an running...and I think gmail is a better email providers...Happy Postings...SS

You're right if it isn't one thing it's another, in this case instead of dragging on the drama, I just switched providers and I am already extremely happy I switched...Thanks for responding...SS

Sometimes when you get a lot of mail from one user Id (in this case myLot) and your ISP cannot recognise it, then they will put it into the junk or spam folder. It can be quite annoying and this happened to me, but I just notified that it wasn't junk and now it is okay. However it can be inconvenient all the same. What I do is just go to my friends and check out their discussions and respond to the ones that I haven't yet done. I actually find that much easier and certainly my inbox has room for things other than myLot. For a while there it was really clogging up my inbox and nothing else could get through. I see that you are mentioning changing your ISP, and I do hope that helps you but it is a drastic way to go all the same. :)

I'm sorry that this is happening to you :/ What email provider do you use? Maybe they have started marking emails from Mylot as spam? If you have a spam folder, perhaps you could look in there. I don't know if that will help, but I thought that it would at least be a suggestion that you could try. In the meantime, or if you can't get the problem fixed, why don't you try a Gmail account? I can send you a Gmail invite if you need one! ^_^
