Friday Fives 2 - January 12th

Bonus!!! :) We get more than one!!! 1. favorite cereal and why? It is a toss up between Rice Chex and Peanutbutter Capt'n Crunch. Why? Hmmm..I just like it I guess and who doesn't like Capt'n Crunch? 2. what is the best thing about summer? Swimming, beaches, sunning, and playing outseide washing the car! 3. would you rather have a slurpee or a milkshake? ha ha!!! You really think I can choose? Slurpee is awesome because if you get the blue kind, you turn your whole mouth blue!!! But a milkshake is ice cream while you drive. How can I choose? LOL 4. If you could be a member of any band/musical group, past or present, what band would it be and why? Shakira!!! I love how she dances! I would be right there wanting to dance too! 5. Who is your idol? My father for his patience! Your turn. :)

1. My favorite cereal is cheerios. And I have no idea why, Its good for me but thats not the reason.lol. 2. The best thing about summer is being able to have the windows open and not having to wear so many clothes. 3. It would have to be a milkshake and only a chocolate one. 4. This is a tough one. I really have no interest in being in a band. I love all kinds of music but no one in particular. 5. I'm not doing so well today because I can't really pick an idol either. Sorry.

1. Favorite cereal and why? I can't pick a favorite cereal! I like many. I like Peanut Butter Captain Crunch, Lucky Charms, Rice Chex, Corn Pops, Raisin Bran, Captain Crunch Berries, Trix, Cocoa Puffs, Rice Krispies, and Chocolate Pebbles. I love these cereals and for many different reasons. Mainly just because they taste good! 2. What is the best thing about summer? I like the nice warm sun, tanning outside, swimming when you have a pool, and the beach...when you live near the beach. But, if you don't have a pool and you want to get wet, the best thing is, is to clean the car!!! 3. Would you rather have a slurpee or a milkshake? I would rather have a milkshake anyday. It is ice cream...how could resist? :DD

I always enjoy your friday five. Here goes for me... even though it's sunday by now! lol 1. favorite cereal and why? Cinnamon Toast Crunch because it's soooooo yummy and tastes like buttered cinnamon toast. 2. what is the best thing about summer? Swimming. 3. would you rather have a slurpee or a milkshake? Milkshake ANY day! 4. If you could be a member of any band/musical group, past or present, what band would it be and why? I don't think I'd really want to be a rock star. I'm gonna pass on that offer and just enjoy their groups without me! lol 5. Who is your idol? I'm not sure I really have one. There are a lot of people I think are brilliant and remarkable but nobody I would call my "idol".

1. My favorite cereal for years was Cap'n Crunch with Crunchberries. *laugh* Now I have to watch my sugar intake, so I can't really partake of sugary cereals anymore, and I have a new favorite that I stupidly cannot think of the name of right now. D'oh! *laugh* 2. I love summer because I love going to our local amusement park and it's open every day throughout most of the summer months. That to me is my favorite thing about summer. I don't really enjoy the hottest part of the year, though, and prefer spring and fall temperatures for the actual weather *laugh* 3. A slurpee, I think, although I can't really now because of the sugar. Darn *laugh* 4 & 5. Ummm I pass on these. I'd have to give both a lot more thought. I don't know if I really have an idol, per se. Perhaps my father. I think that he is the best dad in the world! ^_^ Thanks for providing such a fun topic! ^_^

1 - Raisin bran..maybe it's because my grandfather and I used to eat cereal together when I was a kid, and that is the kind we ate :) 2 - The best thing about summer is that feeling that most seem to get. Our bodies seem to come out of hibernation and we smile so much more! 3 - I'd rather have a milkshake anyday! 4 - Hmm..I think that I would have to say Buckcherry..lol. My fave. 5 - My idol isn't famous, isn't recognized as much as she should be, but my idol is my grandmother. She has so much strength and so much love to give. If I could be like her, my life would be complete.

The best thing about the summer is that it is warm out all the time and it is light out longer to enjoy. #3. I would rather have a nice strawberry milkshake. I have loved milkshakes since I was a kid. 4. I would love be part of Bon Jovi as they are my favorite band and would like to meet them up close. 5. My parents are both my idols since they raised me.

my favorite cereal is Raisin Bran Crunch, I love the fact that it crunches and has raisins. The best thing about summer is being on the lake for the day on a pontoon boat. I would rather have a milkshake, the slurpee gives me a headache. I would have loved to have been a groupie for van morrison, and my idol is my husband.

(1) Favorite cereal would have to be raisin bran. I love the mixture of tastes; the sweet raisins and the cruncy bran (2) Best thing of summer is the smell of fresh cut grass and the gorgeous flowers (3) I would rather have the milkshake! Pralines and cream flavor! (4)Wow, I can only pick one? I dont' plan an instrument so it would be hard to be a member...but I would have to say the band CHICAGO. Love all that brass! (5) Again, only one?! All-n-all, I guess my father. His quiet, yet powerful demeanor. His incredible strength, his discipline, the traits go on and on. Thanks for a post that forces such self-reflection!
