Daughter-N-Laws

I don't have a complaint but rather a word for compassion. Many new wives are just learning how to adjust to married life. Also, if they're working it can be very hard to balance a career and home life. You mentioned "no cooking for your son". In this day and age a man should be expected to be able to cook for himself. Keep in mind that your daughter-in-law will never replace you, but she is an important part of your son's life so if you can learn to get along and maybe even voice your concerns without coming off as the "evil in-law" everyone will be much better off.
