Wholesale Clubs

Went to Sam's Club for the first time in a long time today. I love buying some things in bulk and I always save money, BUT I always feel cheated when I walk out of there. I mean, I get 4 items and I spend $20. Does anyone else get these feeling when you leave a wholesale club?

*laugh* I'd never thought of it that way before, but I can see your point. Still, if you stop and think abut the bulk of the four items you bought, it must be worth it, or you wouldn't have spent the money in the first place! ^_^ I like Sam's Club. I wish that our family still had a card to go there. It's amazing seeing some of the bulk items they sell. I've rarely seen items of such a size in other stores! *laugh* I also bought a much cherished book of mine about John Lennon in Sam's Club many years ago, and for some reason I just have really fond memories of the store.. ^_^

oh I have. I look at what I get for the money and I only have a couple of items I'm putting in the trunk. It makes me wonder how 4 items can cost so much. Am I really getting my money's worth. Of course it doesn't help if I go to the dollar store in the same day. I could spend the same amount of money and have ten times the items and really wonder why doesn't this seem right? So you aren't alone in this. I have as well.

I don't feel that way when I know I am actually getting a good deal. The key to wholesale clubs is to know your prices. Not everything is a good deal. I have found that the majority if items are not a good deal and quite often can be purchased at Wal-mart for a better price. I find that if you stick to what you actually went in there for and not buy extra items, you feel like you came out with a good deal.
