correct! it shouldn't matter a bit at all. when this happens, it just shows that you're not off the track after all. you're in!

Well I wouldn't worry about it. In fact I'd probably go up to her and say she has great tastes in clothing. I could never really understand why so many women get upset by that. Men don't if some guy is in the same suit as him, so why should women get upset if another has the same or similar dress? To me that is silly.

correct! but sometimes, a girl needs to feel that she is unique, the only one, the special one.... and i'm not talking about clothes only. sometimes, it's all about pride and reputation, something we, women alone can empathize with.

It depends on the party situation. If it is prom or homecoming, you really can't go home and change your dress, makeup, and shoes. That situation happened to me homecoming freshmen year, and it occurred to the majority of the girls from my school at prom. I did more than grin and bear it. I walked around the room as if my dress was completely unique. No one really noticed because I carried myself with confidence.
I guess if it's a smaller party, then you can make sure to bring a change of clothes to the party. Or you could have a guy friend go to the party ahead of you, and have him call you to tell you the outfits that he sees to avoid the incident totally.

yeah, you're right. identical dresses are fairly common happenings in proms and there's really no need to home and change. for smaller parties, i'd rather grin and bear it coz it's cheaper than going home to change. lol!
