Real or Online Friends?

Do you have more real life friends or online friends? I was thinking about this today and I really have more good friends that I chat with online. I only have three friends who I talk to weekly and the rest are usually a monthly thing. However, I talk to my online friends daily.

I actually have alot more IRL friends...simply because i find it easier to open up/get closer to them..

Most of my friends are offline. I have a few I chat with when I'm at work or via email..But not as often as I see my friends.....

Quite honestly I feel like I have a lot more online friends compared to real life friends. But usually I will meet people online & then we will end up meeting in person eventually. And becoming even closer once we had met in person.
And I do feel in all honesty that people are much more open online then compared to how they are in real life. I find I end up getting to know him or her more when we talk online then compared to when we may talk in person. I end up knowing more about there feelings & there personality as well compared to if I knew them in real life. I think the most important thing one can do online is be themselves.. Because if you pretend to be someone your not.. Then when they meet the person they will find out you we're lying anyways.. So why not just be honest from the get go?! . . At least that's how I am when meeting people online..
I don't know I feel that some of the people that I consider to be my friends online.. Are a little bit better then the people who I know in real life.. I've met a lot of people who have been there for me over the last few years in a way that the people I know in real life.. haven't. I love how the people I have met support me.. Even if it is via the internet.. To me it's not that much different..
That is how I had ended up meeting my other half.. We chatted for two years online & then had ended up meeting.. And we've been together for two years now.. So I think sometimes the people whom you meet online.. Can end up becoming so much more if you are just honest with them, but also yourself.. As this is the most important thing. I love building relationships online.. Because when you meet these people in person your relationship will just grow even stronger! . .

you know what! you are lucky if you find a true friends in chatting.. almost chatters are not good or i mean friendly. some are liers.. i have met many like that before, thats the reason why i am not particular with chatting anymore

I think that I have always had more online friends than real life ones. For one thing, I am far too shy to make many non-online friends. For another, I spent so much time on the internet anyway that it is much easier for me to chat to friends who are also online *laugh* I currently don't really have any friends that I hang out with locally, but I"m really hoping to turn all that around this year. I actually am starting to become friendly with some people online who live close around here, which is really exciting for someone as shy as me who is working on coming out of her shell! ^_^

I have far more online friends. I am a life coach and I have friends all over the world that I talk to on a regular basis.
