Notebook PC or notebooks????

Our young generation is tired of carrying all their notebooks from home to school & back. Why can we make them to use a notebook pc or laptop which is able to store the informations of over a hundred notebooks??? This reduces their load to school moreover they will also become literate in the computer field at thier young age itself. Whats your opinion?????
