Is a DIY will valid?

I want to make a will and dont know how to write a will, but would like to try doing so - are do-it-yourself wills valid? How do I name beneficiaries for the insurance policies and other assets? Anyone has any experience? Would like to hear from you all. Thanks.

There are DIY Will Kits available that walk you through it step by step so that you end up with a legal valid document. You need to use proper terms and legalese so your wishes can be clearly and properly interpreted. I'm sure there are sites on the web that can give you some guidelines. There's an interesting little project that should keep you busy for a bit. Good luck with it all.
