You could try 'Mrs Dash' herb mixtures, and other herbs and spices. I tried some of the other salt substitutes and didn't care for them. Sometimes I'll use b-b-q sauce on chicken instead of a lot of salt. I not sure how much salt in in the sauce, though. You would have to check the label.

I've tried NO Salt which works fine in food for me. It has a bad flavor on it's own though.
