It may sound strange but from cruising all the different discussions on here I came across a solution for getting rid of acne. That solution is putting toothpaste on the pimples. I have actually tried this and it really did work and it worked quicker than most acne medications.

What are you using to wash your face? Maybe change to a facewash for acne if you aren't already. I use Loreal Pure Zone face scrub and I use an astringent before I go to bed....there's a Mint Julep mask that has helped me a lot too. I have really oily skin. I've never tried it but I havve heard from some friends that Proactive actually works. It could be hormonal...have you recently changed birth controls or something? Just something to think about

hot fomentation should be applied to open up the pores and squeeze the waste matter. Then rinse with cold water. Sun and air baths by exposing the whole body to sun and air are highly beneficial. The healing packs made of grated cucumber, oatmeal cooked in milk, and cooked, creamed carrots used externally, have been found to be effective. The orange peel is valuable in the treatment of acne. The peel, pounded well with water on a piece of stone, should be applied to the affected areas. The lemon has also proved beneficial in removing pimples and acne . It should be applied regularly. A teaspoonful of coriander juice, mixed with a pinch of turmeric powder, is another effective home remedy for pimples and blackheads. The mixture should be applied to the face after thoroughly washing it, every night before retiring.

Don't feel bad-I made it through my teenage years, twenties, and most of my thirties and wham!--acne arrived. I was just surprised when I started getting break-outs but when I went to see a dermatologist she said it was quite common. She recommended using an astringent like Sea Breeze in the morning before I put on makeup and before going to bed at night. She also told me that stress affects our skin so sometimes I need to take a break from make-up. You might have to try several different products to find the one that is right for your skin type. Good luck.

You should put strips of bacon all over your face, clear it RIGHT UP!

tohot666 your circumstances sound similar to mine. Simran's coriander juice and turmeric treatment would provide topical support. It cannot cause any grief. In my case I immediately eliminated fried food, red meat, bacon. Bought a vegetable juicer and religiously downed a glass of seasonal veggie juice laced with lemon first thing every morning. Washing the face with very very mild soap thrice a day as well as exercise helps. It took about 2 months, but my face no longer looks like a lunar landscape. Good luck lass! Do not procastinate. LOL!

Sorry forgot. Tictacs comments about hormone issues need to be considered as well. It might just be something as reviewing any medication you are taking.
