oRkut is reliable site ?

Reliable but dun paste your pics and your address thats when its dangerous and moreover if you wanna meet old pals contact them and send your address and telephone number through e mail and chat but not scraps anyone can read what are you talking about thats one thing i dun like that all your mesg are public....

orkut is only site there these is u share your photographs , feelings , share your feeling ,serch friend own camunity own mative state own global world ,netwarking of friend u find ur ftiend there as you find them , if you mis him from a long time.

well want to point out some things : Advantages : 1) orkut is very good medium to be in touch with your friends ! 2) orkut works as portal which have communities of colleges and organization to gather peoples at one place ! whenever they come back ! 3) orkut is very good if you really dont chat regularly and dont email friends regularly ! Disadvantages 1) lack of security ! 2) mis use of pictures !( if uploaded 3) open scrapbook ! 4) no monitoring is done by service providers ! 5) some illegal or terriost activities can occur ! 6) discrimination's among religions !! and many more these are the few which should be noted down ! some useful tips 1) dont uplaod photo ! (for male & female both ) 2) dont give actual information ! 3) use it as connectivty medium ! 4) dont let people to misuse and dont do it by yourself ! thanx

orkut is really reliable site the only condition is that all of its members should understand what orkut is giving us and honaring it we should not misuse it

well ppl say dat orkut iz not really a reliable site for puttin up photos,coz day can be misused n all. i dont exactly know but i've not really had ane probz with mah profile and photoz. one suggestion to u wud be to avoid puttin close up photoz.they can be misused,so why take a chance. upload group photos instead

Well i have been on orkut for almost a year now and i havent faced any problem on the site, i visit the site everyday and use it to stay in touch with school friends, college friends and my relatives who are abroad. IT'S A GREAT SITE!!!!

it sure is! you should just be careful yourself...dont make any strangers your friends;dont give personal information out on orkut and dont put up your personal photos if you dont want anyone other than your own friends to see them. Lastly, turn off the option to view visitors names if you dont want your own name to be seen on anyone'd profile that you visited.

No orkut is not at all reliable..you can never identify whether the person you are talking to is real or not...expect for by using your own intuition...and there always a chance of theft of identity or any other personal information...in last few months orkut seem to have gotten full pf fake profile s and identities..one has to be very careful about privacy settings and all that stuff
