According to differents sources , the first japanese name of pac-man was puck-man.

Pac-man sounds good. It reminds me of the pride of the Philippines. Manny 'the pac-man."

yes, i knew the original jap name was Puckman! It was changed because pacman sounds better for european and usa market! However, i prefer Puckman!
