Scribling on paper on answer telephone calls, is it an Habbit ?

Dear Mylotters,
I have seen lot of ppl when they answer telephones, they take a pen/pencil and keep drawing in a peice of paper, table etc. Is it an habbit, do u have such habbits. Please discuss.

i do know some people doing this at work (when i used to work still). and when i ask them about it, they just say they find the conversation boring. maybe people just do that because they find the people on the other end boring to talk to. or maybe it's just their habit. i don't do it because i do usually really hear out what the other person is saying.

Even I have seen lot of ppl at my work place scribling in the front page, drawing starts or some sort shading on the newspapers etc. At times they even write some important details in other diaries and forget it. I don't have such habbits, but some ppl have.

i just hv pen inhand whne i was on phone coz if some talk is to be written than i will note that down.
thats all ...not particular habit like this...

yes i have this habbit and one thing i tell u i make good picture whether it is women or flower and sometims i start writting my own phone no. and make it circle or dark again and again till phone continue .
