what is your opinion on reservation for backward section of people!

I think the reservation is gud...but only to a considerable extent..i mean if you realy want to help the backward classes then give them reservation in the lower and middle classes and in the coaching classes so that they can prepare well and compete but don't give them a free hand in higher education like engg. and medical colleges ..simply because they are backward.This wont serve any purpose..

really..i dont like the policy of reservation ...because of it many dserving candidate may not get the job or admission in the university..if goverment want to help poor people its better to provide financial assistance then reservation

really think reservation of castes etc should be removed. if you aren't THE best you just get kicked out of the field you want to apply in. and as it is good colleges have less seats and more competition. if there should be any reservation it should be in financial staus. and besides now even backward castes are developing pretty well. and besides I don't think we need doctors with 60% and reserved caste certificates.

reservation for backward in jobs is not good .let me be descriptive a man who is from backward class how many times he is going to get the benefites of that reservation at the time of entering into course of professional education,at the time of getting the job at the time of promotion,means to say that its a faulty system.

well reservation is important and good only if the classification is done in better and impartial way...nowadays in india reservation is done on caste basis... my understanding is that financial status is much better basis of reservations...
