What is the difference of crush from love?

As what the question asks.. I'm just a little confused 'coz my friend says he loves this girl but he also claims that he has a crush on another girl! Why? Is that possible?

So... does that mean that if you have a crush at somebody, you may only like his/her looks? Thanks for the insight... =)

Love and crush start the same way ,the same excitement ,the same attraction but its onlyy after sometime u can differentiate between love and crush.Crush is shortlived whereas love "eternal".
Crush is composed more of physical feelings and love an equal composition of both emotion and physical .
In love u have a sense of belonging whereas in crush after sometime you feel bored after the initial high.
At the end i would just say "Love is just a bubble if u dont take the trouble to make it".Its in your hands for it to blossom into love or end in a crush.
Right??
