My vote goes to Dicky Bird, he has shown decent personality can overshadow small misjudgements made by umpires.

Simon taufel really has proved to be the best umpire with his great accuracy and skills. At an estimate,out of 100 decisions taken by him,only 3 are incorrect where as other umpires like steve buckner and billy doctrove have a very low percentage of accuracy.

I think he has some allergy when he see the players of India,Pakistan and Sri Lanka.

I won't say Simon Taufel as the best umpire, as there is absolutely no umpire at present who can be called as the best, but he makes less mistakes when compared to the others. Thats all. Most of the umpires are awful.

Yes, Simon Taufel is the best Umpire for his accuracy in taking critical decisions and his character is also perfect. Hi is an admirable person.
