this happened to me many times, too. so, what i do is whenever i post a long response, i copy it first to wordpad and save it there. then, i push the post response button. so, sometimes, if i get disconnected while posting it, i got myself a back up by saving it to wordpad. i get to copy it again on the respond to this discussion page of mylot. then, i can go on working!

oh you poor thing!!! i can totally empathize with you... i have a similar problem and its not when i post stuff... it happens to me when i am downloading stuff.... like say a movie... about 150 MB at a stretch and i am almost done 98.3 percent or sometimes even 99.8% when the connection goes or the power fluctuates!!! u know how annoying that is? makes me wanna just tear the hair on my head from its very roots!! well i guess we have to bear with it!!! what else could we possibly do? as with me, i swear till i am satisfied!! LOL

I don't have that problem thank goodness, but if I did it would drive me insane too. I hope you have better luck in the future.

Yeah it happens, are you pertaining to the interenet connection? I don't have any problems with mine what I experience here is that when typing a long message it won't post I just retype everything. Just keep on trying.

Yes thats what happens to me also and the wort thing is that since you cannot paste before reaching 500 posts u have to retype it every time. Something has to be done in this regard hopefully.

i have an experience same like yours too. its make me feeling down much.

It is very annoying when this happens but you can either resend it since it should still be on your screen or you can copy it to another program so you can rewrite it after refreshing your screen. Once you get to 500 rating or higher you will be able to copy and paste in situations like now.

lol, it's funny that you posted it now because right today I've been having internet problems with my connection being lost about every 5-10min and so I try to always copy the response before hit the 'post' button so if it goes wrong I won't have to write it all again, but sometimes it happens it's really annoying. For you it may be even worst since you can't use copy-paste yet, until you get to 500 posts. Good luck anyway.

i think this is happening to a lot of us, certainly it is happening to me. I think its partially a glitch in mylot when they are getting ready for a pay out it seems to do it more often. Its a pitty you are not in the 500 plus club, because what i have started doing is coppying my posts to note pad so when this happens i can just post my answer back in. good luck keep on keeping on

i think it happens to everyone. I thought before it was my lines problem and i thought that im just the only one experiencing that so what i usually did in that situation is before sending my comment i copy it first so if ever it get disconnected i cant retrieve what i said. I usually got long answer so its very annoying if its gone and you cant remember it all. So try that one. Copy it and paste it to word or notepad. You cant directly paste it to box because you still below 500. Its agains the rule. Preventing those cheaters out there.

sorry to hear that. there is really a bad internet connection nowadays if you live in Asia. it was because of the earthquake that happened a couple of weeks ago. some cables got knocked down in Thailand or Taiwan? i don't remember exactly which country but it starts with 't'. and they haven't repaired it yet. but if you are having this type of problem always, then there might be a problem with your server. try hooking up with a new server. that would solve your problem.

It used to happen with me when I had a dialup. yes it's maddening, annoying and lots more. Got fed up, went for broadband and now with DSL connection such things just don't happen. So what you learn here is 'get a dsl for yourself':).

Ya I have also faced problem like this. It really makes me sick when the connection is gone and I need to type everything from first. As we cant copy paste it till we reach 500, I started copying it in a notepad, and if the connection goes, I will once again start typing it b seeing the notepad. By doing this, atleast we need not think once again...

That happens to me all the time about 10 times a day or more. I was told that it is when people are trying to call and so we get disconnected. I don't know if it is true or not though. I drives me up the wall I even think it spikes my blood pressure up..lol

It happens with everyone. It is better to be cool on such occasion otherwise it would be difficult to recollect what you have written or what was in your mind about that subject.

actually, it frustrates me to no end that i have to leave that post for a while and search for that in the search engine when i have already recovered. really, the taiwan earthquake has affected us all, hasn't it?

i had experienced it so many times, but i dont lose track, i just made a new response similar to my post that has been disconnected, just have patience, connection nowadays is not really stable due to the damage underground cable because of that earthquake that hits taiwan last december. Patience is a virtue!

Ouchhh, sad to hear about it. I didn't encounter such problem. My connection has never failed me yet and i hope i doesn't. I understand what you fell, I have this experience but i did not get disconnected. After i hit the post reply my screen suddenly went blank ouchhh, and it hang too yikess. So there goes my well thought response, puff!, bye bye, sayonara, adios =).

Hey that happens to me too. I would usually write a response, but then for some reason mylot signs me off when i press the post response button. I hate it how you can't copy and paste stuff...I usually use microsoft word to check my grammer and spelling.
