why are we here on earth

Good question... could it be our punishment for doing the wrong things (Adam & Eve)... wow, talk about really holding a grudge eh? LOL I mean, I know we're all supposed to believe there's a purpose, but if the purpose is to find the end result of being with our Lord then why go through the stuff here? I understand.. original sin, etc. etc. but is it realistic to think we're paying for that sin for this long? I mean, perhaps this is just a wink of an eye in the Lord's eye.. but to be honest... if you truly think about it.. within any human ability to think in depth...there's not a real logical answer is there?

Hello dear friend I believe that I live life to learn, and that we keep being reborn until we have learnt and felt everything there is to learn and feel, then we go onto a better place, some people call this place heaven. That's just my theory. :)

Because God think that this is the best place for man to live.

I think that the plan made by scientists it is right. And we are on earth like other animals,but the big differece is that people are more inteligent than all the animals.

That is a really huge question *laugh* Personally I believe that we are all here to learn our own individual lessons, to learn and grow spiritually. It is up to us ourselves to figure out what we are each meant to be working on here during our time on Earth. ^_^

I feel every individual is on earth to serve a purpose and he is a part of greater plan.

well.................. god was thinking one day how could she find out who were the better males or females. For a laugh she put adam on earth, he got a little fed up playing with the snakes in the garden of Eden and so she gave him a partner Eve she taught him everything she knew and so the world multiplied. My belief is that god put us on this earth to show that behind every man there a very clever woman xx happy posting

I know miss!! I know...I know..... raises hand in air as high and stiff as can... 'cos chocolate wont grow on the moon Miss. We are here, IMHO, because this is where the environment that suits us happened to be. It is therefor likely that other environments do support life forms, but they are not likely to conform to our ideas of what they may look like. Recognising them, could be a problem. In the history of the Earth, it may have only been able to support life for a small proportion of it's existence. If this "rule" applies to other objects in space, many of them may not have started their life capable period yet. Why we are here, or what should we be doing now, well to avoid that thesis, I'm just going to say, we should be farming all resources with sustainability in mind. Sadly we have raped and plundered almost to a point of no return. We must wean ourselves off fossil all fuels. It wouldn't be a bad idea to stop worshipping money. I'm outta here before my fingers get the better of me.... lol

c'mon people. there is no plan, don't be a non-person, always waiting for someone in the sky to do something for you. you have one life, that is all. people love to take credit for their lives when things are going well, then when it all turns bad, all of a sudden there must be a plan and god has a reason to make them homeless, jobless, or whatever. the plan is that we all become worm fodder for the next living things to survive off of, which is quite beautiful really.

not man specifically, but the reason for all life is in my opinion reproduction and continuation of the species :) then again i guess my opinions are pretty controversial as i see all major religions as placebos, to keep people in place, because if faced with an ultimate fate in the near future some people could become quite unpleasant. its a lose-lose situation, being an atheist Glad to see there's someone else from huddersfield ESKARENA1, looks like we're the only two so far :(

This has always been difficult for me. In some ways I think God does have a plan. But then I ask myself why did I get molested at the age of 3, 7 and so on? I mean, was this God's plan??? And why did I get depression so bad that I wanted to die, and almost did. Why did I get sick with chronic fatigue, and fibromyalgia? Things that people cannot accept nor understand? I want to believe that God has a plan for everyone. But sometimes, I have to say, we make our own plan. Maybe it's a balance of both? Greets

We live here on earth because here there is sufficient amount of oxygen and water and food and tolerable temparature. We will survive the best on earth. Thus we are living here on earth. I am pretty sure you won't survive on moon.

God has a perfect plan to us... We have our own mission to accomplish..and when our time comes, then maybe we already done with our mission and were going report to our Lord saying "Mission Accomplished God" with a ery big smile on our face.
