smoking in cars and in front of children is bad parenting it poses risk to the children.Smoking in a vehicle is 23 times more toxic than in a house because of the confines space..

I can't stand seeing people smoke around their kids. It only takes a couple more steps to go outside. I was smoked around when I was pregnant with my first daughter. She has had breathing problems from the beginning, even though she was not smoked around. I think it somehow affected her in utero. Now everytime she gets a cold, I end up running her to the ER for breathing treatments. She doesn't have asthma but has a chronic cough. I have never smoked or allowed smoking around my kids but I know tons of people who do. They just don't seem to care.

try an abortion next time. I can hate on you too, you know. should I talk about all the parents who bring their whiny little brats to the movie theatre?
keep em' at home where they belong, and then you don't have to worry about the smoke.
GAWD!

wow, I knew that secondhand smoke in the confined area of a car was terrible for a child but I didn't realize that it was 23 time more toxic. I wish more states would attempt to ban smoking in cars with children in them like the one state (forget which one) is trying do legislate. Heck, where I live they haven't legislated againest smoking at all...it is still allowed in all public buidlings. I get so sick of attempting to go out to eat and have to smell it. Why would a parent want to smoke in their car and abuse their child's health? To me, it is a form of child abuse.....pure and simple.

Yes ofcourse. It is bad for a child health because there is difference in the health control of a child and a normal smoker man. He got his lungs damaged due to this reason.

I knew that the confined space of a car made the second hand smoke more dangerous for children, but I have never heard the statistic of 23 times more toxic before- although I do believe it. I don't smoke, and I go wild when people smoke in a house or a car with children. If the adults want to kill themselves slowly, at least they could go outside and do it, so that their children (who they should be trying to protect) can breathe fresh air. Exposing children to second hand smoke should be considered to be child abuse.

Yes, I think that smoking in a car when there are children inside is very dangerous. Not only that, wherever we smoke it is very dangerous if there any other people who don't smoke around. Non-smokers will get more harm than the smokers themselves. So if we love our family we should stop smoking because we are actually putting our loved ones lives in danger.

Smoming as such is harmful to health thats what i feel.
Smoking it front of children affects them both physcially and psycologically . This psychological impact makes it smoke in a later stage.
So out of my desparateness I started a discussion on this and i have received a lot of responses .
just check this following link...
