Indians dress is really traditional. I wonder what happens to other countries people, if they wear it. Do they really feel comfortable?
Indians wear western dress and clothes. So it doesnt matter for them, they really adopted to it. So how about other region people? I have a friend who is from America. She says she likes to wear saree, but it will make her feel uncomfortable, she cant manage. What do you say.

well i have my view on this topic and its that - one can feels comfortable in any dress which one feels comfortable in... as far as sarees are concerned they also became a sensation on the world front as well... and they quite famous still in many of the parts of d world... as far your frnd is concerned mayb' it was not her 1st tme good experence which i m sure not many gals' are comfortable and can manage high heels also... but even if dey are i would stick wid all women and men also can carry anything - provided they feel comfortable in them...
------ waise dear frnd, do let me whether you yourself are comfortable or not in saree and if yes which i m sure you would be then let me know which is the thing you not comfortable in... CARE 2 b frnds... CHEERS!!! -

for some reason i think of India clothes only for people living in India. Just like music or the language right? I dont know why in America why somebody would wear traditional india clothes on everyday basis, except for a traditional ceremony.
if i moved to another country then i adopt those habits, i think. But why move to America if you keep your old culture anyway then no need to move.
In san francisco area there are many India people but they dont wera India clothes very often, no offense it is nice but looks out of place!

I think its good to wear Indian traditional clothes because it makes us different from others also it reflects our tradition. Also from my point of view a girl in Indian saree looks more beautifull than a girl in western clothes and as per as your friend is concern she was not used to with saree that is why she is uncomfortable with it.
