Helping others...

Just wondering what and how do you feel after you helped a person, or maybe offered a seat to an elderly or just doing something good such as helping out people here in MyLot through discussions?
... I am wondering because I realized there are less and less people around just helping others or doing good things in general, especially in public areas...

Helping people feels good even without asking anything in return. Doing the right thing is hard-- that's why I feel proud of myself.
It's really a heavenly feeling. More like loving someone. I call it a butterfly feeling.

Yeah, quite true to have that kind of feeling most of the time. Feeling proud of ourselves than others around. And you have a point there, it's like loving someone, which I guess why no wonder I'm able to have a good time even if I'm single.
But well if there are times if the person you help doesn't appreciate it, maybe gives you some sarcastic look or something like that... how will you feel, I think that screws up our feelings totally isn't it?
