absolutely i missed those days i'm enjoying time with my mom making some buko & pineapple tarts when i was on my elementary days. my mom exposed me so much of the kitchen secrets & the cooking tutorials. that's why i'm really thankful for her & this time she's bit older already then lazy to cook. it always end up calling me to make the dishes if a party calls this time.

I'm lucky in that I have many fond memoies from childhood. One of my favourites is time spent stargazing with my Dad. He was an amateur astonomer and we owned more than one telescope.
My father passed away in 1999, and I occasionally look into a clear night sky and think of him and those happy times.
Thank you for a great topic.

I rememberred that in my childhood, when my Mom slept, i and my elder brother brought out "Table Trolly" from kitchen and i sat on it and my elder brother pushed it and i smilled and felt happy. Similarly, i too do so with my elder brother but when my Mom got up, She scold us with cool words and advice to avaoid to play this game but we did same thing next day.

Its hard to pick a favorite memory. I had a wonderful childhood. we lived in the country and were constanlty doing things. I suppose a special memory was when a nieghbor guy would come by with his horses and us kids all seven of us would go with himto the hay field. He would put me and my sister up on the horses until we got to where the wagon was. we rode in the wagon up a long road to the top of a hill. the my older brother and sisters helped with the haying and us yonger ones would wander thru the orchard picking apples and peaches and pears. The smell of the fruit on a sunny day was absolutely delicious.
