How save it is to keep a pet?

My sister want to give a cat in the house....everbody in the house is against it...i dont know anything about pet......and my parents have now put the ball in my court....i am helpless now......

Well the main point here is that it dosen't sound like you want a pet... If you don't want a cat don't get one. It's sad for the animal if you don't give it any attention. Pets require care, so if you are not interested it's better to not get one.
