Got a Problem with 845G plz Help

I have a intel 845G motherboard with onboard graphics of 64MB shared memory....I found out that when i play Half life 2 at the point when the game auto saves the game exits and an error appears stating something like.....the memory referenced at "0x1283(some number)" cannot be "read"....i then found out in other forums that it is common problem of every 845g motherboard with HL2...I dont know whether any patches have been released to fix this problem...but one of my friends told me that a patch has been released to fix the problem...I m not sure of this since i couldn't find a patch on the net...If anyone knows how to solve this problem please help me

i think u shud try ...just uninstall ur game totally from registry too then reinstall...i think it will work. or u can also try after fresh install of OS.

Yeah..I had the same problem, My board is 865GBF, I searched the whole net for the fault but couldn't found the solution, I played the whole game with that stupid frustration, i hope you'll get the patch soon.
