Can guys control their hearts and stop love when they want?

I fell in love before, I tried to talk to her. She seemed she agrees and everything was well. But we were not suitable for each other. She wanted me to love her more and more so she can make fun of me more and more. When she got bored of me, she tried to escape. When I felt this, I left her and I never talked to her again. That was from about 4 years now. From that day till now, I feel I need someone to love. Every time I find a girl that I like I prevent myself from falling in love. Till now I am successful at controlling my heart. I have stopped love and didn't love at all for 4 years now. Sometimes I have felt I weak and I was about to fall in love again (and maybe I fell in love for a day or two) but decided to keep love away till I finish my study and get ready to marry. Then I shall love my wife as much as I want.
Do u think I am right at this or I need advice?

Yes, i think the guys can control their hearts and stop love when they want, because they are not affective like girls

Sometimes I feel girls are too emotional. They are creatures made of feelings. That's why I consider guys stronger than girls, and girls are more beautiful than guys.

Yes!...Based on my own experienced!...It depends on the guy!...Im not saying that all the guys can control to there feeling in loving!...But for me, it is posible!...It's up to the person on how he deals with his own feelings!...lolz
