Is sehwag necessary for team india as he is not playing well?

he has been selected for world cup 2007!! even he is not in good form..

No way their no hope that sehwag will regain his form.He should be taken out from indian team.Any other should be allowed to open instead of him.

Sehwag is a very good player, he has all the neccessary shots that a opening bats men can play, he is a hard hitter of the bowl and can score runs very quickly. In the current situation sehwag is out of form and lost his confidence, but he can burst out at any point of time, and whether he is form or not he has the great capability to change the match by scoring fast. It is just he needs some time to collect his lost confidence and depressurize himself from the cricket, so it is best for him to play in domestic cricket and gain confidence, but I am sure he will back in the team soon.

It's good decesion, bcoz he is totally out of form.He needs to to play more domestic cricket.

bad form is for evey one i think no one is exception i'm sure he will be back in form shortly

yeah i agree with, he needed to get back to nets for a break and sort out his problems..rite now he is low on confidence and is not performing at all...i hope this break will help him in sorting out the things in a better way...

No one can do the best every time. Sehwag is doing his best. He is doing whatever he can. But doing this is not good at all according to me.

I dont think so inda needs Sehwag because he was not performing nicely and india lost.. and India is really in a deed trouble that is why its better they warn the main players

i think not playing sehwag is a good decision because he is not in good form now. but he is a key player to our team. if he failed to get in form till worldcup then it will be a serious trouble for our team, because the way he plays in the onedayes i dont think any one else could able to fulfill his space.

If ganguly can back by performing well after dropping from team india for his bad form then it is correct decision for Sehwag also. and hope he will come back with full charge like ganguly, all the best for Sehwag.

Whether sehwag is in form or not, he has the capability to change the course of the match within just 2 or 3 overs. I am a big fan of sehwag and I have full confidence in him but right now he is not able to concentrate on game and he gets out easily, he needs to reform himself thats why a break is neccessary for him now, Sehwag has played wonderfully in the last world cup. He is a good player and an opener like sehwag can lay a solid foundation for indian criket team in the start of the match. It is good decision to let him off the team, because it would take away the piling up pressure on him and he can regain his concentration and reform his strength.

Sehwag can be included in one dayers conducted in sub continental pitches as the bounce and swing is less where any hand and eye co-ordinated player like sehwag can really cash on. Also don't forget his useful spin bowling in subcontinental pitches. But when travelling abroad like Australia, Newzealand, South Africa (bouncy and seaming pitches) and West Indies (slow pitches where the ball does not come to the bat nicely), it is prudent to omit him as in these conditions, good defense, correct footwork and above everything, patience is needed to excel, which sehwag does not possess.

Shewag is a must in Indian team and too has a opener with Sachin Tendulkar. He is out of form it does not mean he has no talent now to play for India. He has done exceptionally in many of the matches which lead to success of the country. Every one has a bad patch and Shewag is facing it noe. I hope he will come out of this crisis and be prepared for this World Cup. Hope this World Cup is ours.
