I think therefore I am?

I think therefore I am -a philospohical statement that many people rigorously debate What if I were to say I do not think, therefore I am not? If I did not think, would the sentence even exist? And if I am not, what AM I? What are your perspectives on this infamous philosophical statement?

So you thought it over and came to the conclusion that you do not think?But if you thought it over,then you had to think.So if I decided i do not think,I did think and therefore I am or must be.

That is a very good conclusion. I tend to agree with you on that even though my original conlusion was as I see now a little trifle fundamentally flawed I have to accept the mistake. Good job.

Well, you have already pretty much explained, in full, your infamous philosophical statement. That is, if you did not think, the statement could not even exist. So, good job at coming up with a rather clever posting and answering it! Moving on, what about your avatar? Are you going to do a version of that stunt in the movie, "Blazing Saddles"? The one where the hero threatens to shoot himself, if people don't do as ordered? You could tell people that if no one responds to your posts, you will pull the trigger. Let me know if this works. I'll give it a try if you have any success. But then again, if it does not work, how will you let me know? BTW, dextrophopia, are you diabetic?

I think therefore I am. said by a famous philosopher DESCARTES.He was a great philosopher.The phrase means i lnow i m alive or i m living only when i m concious.you are concious is when you think.At sleep stage you become unconcious so at that time you are not aware of your surrounding or thoughts. Tell me do you remember anything after you sleep- NO you dont.So how can you say you are alive.That's why it is said the only prove of your exsistence is when you are thinking. So hence its proved "I Think Therefore I am".
