What are the stars above people's usernames on mylot.com? I'm new! / myLot

I have noticed stars with numbers above usernames on this site, mylot.com. Can someone tell me what they indicate? I would be greatly appreciative! Also, is there some type of system that determines what pays? Is starting a discussion more than responding to someone elses? If someone would let me know I would love them forever!

It's your mylot rating, beginners start low and then progress, mylot arranges it all. It just happens

there isn't any thing realy good ;) . It just show your level on the site and if you whant to get stars you just have to post 100 posts it is realy simple thing ;) .And more so levels show your activite on the site but i think it just don't matter for me . So what can i say more just have a realy nice none rainy day .
