I feel a cough and sore throat coming on. I hear tea and honey help, but I wonder if there any other natural cure?

In my family they use honey and red apple cider vinegar to help with a cold and cough. I would suggest taking a pain pill fo rthe sore throat that is what my doctor suggested anyhow, and gargle warm salt water. I hope this helped some.

Zinc tablets (or lozenges) really work well. Just pop one as soon as you feel a cold coming on. I went from having colds all the time to very rarely having one at all now. Same thing worked for my teenager.

I know many people have heard this before, but it really does work. Hot chicken noodle soup with a glass of orange juice helps your immune system fight off colds. It also makes you feel a bit better after consuming them!

Hot tea with honey will relieve the sore throat pain, along with gargling with warm salt water. When I feel a cold coming on, I start using Zicam, which is a zinc-based natural remedy that lessens the severity and duration of the cold. Zicam is available in the pharmacy in the cold & flu section, it is all-natural, and is available in a variety of forms. I use the throat spray. Also, drink lots of fluids, take extra vitamin C, and wash your hands frequently to avoid spreading the virus to others. Rest, stay warm, and feel better soon!
