do you believe that plants & trees are also sensitive and can understand what we're saying??? We have proven that they can when some of our fruit bearing trees & flowering plants no longer bear fruits & flowers, my mother said that if within this month and still you dont bear fruits & flowers, i will decide to cut you down...and after a week we saw some buds of flower starting to show up and so with the fruit bearing tree...it happens not only once but so many times...even our friends have the same testimonials with their regards to their plants! coincidence??? what do you think???

Hi ihr, though i forget the titles now as it has been quite a while, i have read some excellent research work on the subject which shows that they do. in fact one of the studies went to the extent of researching over great distances regarding communicatio of our thoughts and measured them with electrical currents. try looking for books and papers published by chinnai university in india. one thing i know without scientific research - my plants do understand my thoughts - they look so much better when i am around. when i am away, and with several looking after them in my absense, they still look weary. my imagination ? i don't know.

That's interesting to know ihr! I think plants and flowers does understand us. If i remember right, our science teacher has discussed things like that before but I am not sure it has been long time ago so I might be wrong.

I think it's an interesting concept and I think it's possible that plants respond to positive or negative energy, which we express in words or thoughts.
As far as plants actually understanding our words, I think that's a little too imaginative for me - but to each his/her own. :)
