10 years ago most of us didn't have a cell or mobile phone. Now everybody seems to be talking on a cell phone where ever you go, mall, walking ore even driving.
I analyzed my calls and I did only get 1 call that was important and I was happy to have my cell phone with me in the whole week. Can you live without a cell phone for one week and not miss it?

a few months ago my cellphone was broken and I went about 10 days without it. Funny thing, I didn't miss it.
The fact the I was "unreachable" was great too. With a cell phone you are basically in contact with everyone 24/7.
Cell phones are convenient when you are out and pay phones are becoming a thing of the past, they are good to have.

I have dicovered that my monthly cell payment was a tad more expensive then my land line phone. I couldn't afford both so I had to make a choice. And since my life at the time kept me away from home and I have young children I went with the cell phone. I have had weeks at a time that the only calls I got were regarding my children and family so if not for that I would be able to go a week. However you must admit they come with convinience.

I actually don't have a cellphone. Sometimes I feel like the only person in the world that doesn't. All my friends are amazed I don't have one or feel the need for one. So I think it's safe to say I can go one week without one. I've been going for years without one.

Last month I used only a few minutes of my cellphone so it's been a big waste of money having one.

No. I have 2 girls in school & a diabetic husband with heart problems. It is important to me to be available in case I am needed. I also do not drive so I walk most places I go. I feel more safe & secure when I have the phone. Especially if I have my 3 week old with me.

Oh yes I could go without it- I love having the convenience if a phone with me if there was an emergency.. but I could live without it for a week. Most times I have it on but often do not answer the calls- I let them go to voice mail and check them later. I like to be unreachable at times- It drives me crazy seeing people on them all the time-- Or being incredibly slow holding me up due to talking on their cell phone. It is great to have them for security though.

Some years back, I was of the thought that cell phones are luxury items and definitely I don't need it and I was not using cell phones for quite long time, even my friends used to tease of being mean. One day ultimately even i have fell to the trap of using cell phones, i brought a cell phone one day with a good offer and price and have been using it since now. Nowadays, I cannot imagine even a day without cellphones in my hand and going out. I have felt it once when i forgot to take my cell phone to work and felt like fish out water on that day. A week without cell phones, no way, i cannot even imagine it these days.

I use my cell for making calls, listening to radio, messaging, surfing.I will find it very difficult to be without a cell for a week.Unless and until it is the last thing to do i would not go without my cell.

I can go a week without answering my calls but it's something I don't want to do. My parents sometimes call me to pick something up for them or to tell me that there was an accident on the trains and they would tell me which train I can take to get around it so I can get home. I love my cell phone but I wouldn't go a week without it on me. I would not answer it for a week if I have finals or midterms.

I could have gone one week without it....but it is the only way for me to keep in touch with the most important person of my life. Even if she does not really reply to all my sms, only one sms from her makes me feel happy. :)

I could go a week without having a phone. My only problem would be worrying about when I'm driving, because I usually drive 600-700 miles a week on a very unreliable car. It's just easier for me to have one than to not have one, I would be too worried about breaking down in the middle of no where and being stranded if not!

the usage will increase but not decrease because today communication has become much important in our life.so cellphones is important to have communication.some keep for work purpose ,some for personal needs, some for listening songs internet, email etc so all features is coming in cellphone.this makes user to buy cellphone compulsory.and it is easy to carry anywhere.

My cell phone has been shut off for a couple of months now. But before then, I felt like naked without it. We were just having this discussion a couple of days ago. I remember when you couldn't even leave the room if you were on the phone.

I could go without using my mobile phone - but i keep it on me for emergencies (would hate to break down without it) and also so my kids can speak to daddy whilst he is at work.. he often rings up to say hi at lunch time and then when he is about to come home.. So i think my kids would be crushed not using it.. besides we get free phone calls and really cheap video calls..
