Child Support

My ex is in town. Long story short, he see's my son like once a year. I had to take him to court because he decided one day after paying child support regularly, that he wasnt going to. I was excepting the amount that wasnt as much as i would have got in court just to keep the peace. So, when he decided one day that he couldn't pay that because he quit his job I said ok we need a legal arrangement. Basically I got alot more money, and back pay etc. Now he comes into my house and is like everything is new and nice, and makes comments like he thinks I got it all because he pays child support. Not because I work hard at my job.

The father of my kids has also made comments about how I'm the one getting the money, blah, blah, blah. I think it's just something that some dads who pay child support do (the not very good dads at least). They make us (the moms) out to be the bad guys and that we're the one getting the money and doing whatever we want with it. Eck. Yeah sure, like I'm out getting my hair and nails done all the time with child support money (not!). Instead I buy clothes for the kids, pay some of the bills etc... Oh well... nothing we can do to make them think differently.
