Myspace? Who uses it, and for what reasons?

I have a myspace account (www.myspace.com/jimmy_needles)...I was just wondering who else has a myspace account, and what reasons they use it. I mainly post blogs and keep in touch with friends who live too far away to see on a regular basis. I rarely post or reply to bulletins as I see them generally pointless and mind numbing.
